Moving past all of the server/log-in issues this game had at it’s early access launch I have had heaps of fun in this game. Hong Kong Island is vast and beautiful, the cars and physics are sharp and feel really good. I put over 24hrs in on my first weekend I was instantly hooked. The optimization leaves lots to be desired, with my 3070 and 5950x I am struggling with 60-70fps on medium @ 2K resolution, Low runs quite well but you lose a lot of fidelity and just isn’t worth playing. If you have a lower end PC it may be worth holding on to your wallet until some more optimizations are made. Portal
To sum it up, if you’ve got a monster PC this game will be an awesome purchase. It’s not a hardcore, always gunning to the next race style of game, it takes more of a relaxed driving position with big a bigger focus than usual on the exploration. There are a lot of incentives and rewards for going around the map and finding prizes, new locations, and rewards such as cash, XP, or even a car if you find all the pieces. As a long time fan of the TDU series this has been really good blast of modern nostalgia.
